  1. We are exploring liquids in Science with a focus on water. The children have been very interested in the water cycle and were astonished to learn that the sun plays a major role in the water cycle. The students are very concerned about taking care of water so we have looked at what pollutes water and the changes that need to take place to keep our water clean. A class book has been created showing ideas on conserving water. In the next few weeks we will be exploring liguids with a focus on absorption, checking out the properties of liguids, comparing liquids to water and looking deeper into the importance of water for living things.

    3. The definition of buoyancy is the tendency to float when submerged in fluid. Can you think of something that is buoyant?
