Exciting news - our solar module is now installed and connected. We look forward to filling our earth boxes with seeds and seeing the benefits of solar energy on plants.
Mark - one thing that I know is that there are more and more people who are installing solar modules on their houses. I hope to have one for my house one day!
I hope for really sunny days so that our solar module will store lots of energy. The timer is set for the light to come on at night and turn off at 6 am.
The solar panel looks so cool!!! I wonder what type of seeds we're planting? Mrs. Belanger do you mind secretly telling me? I have a great Idea! How about on the day we have to turn on the solar panel light we let the special helper do it.
We have the light on a timer so that it will turn on at night. I wonder if the plants that get that light will grow faster and better than the others? What do you think?
Mrs. Belanger, You won't believe what happened, I got 2 autographs from a football player today and I had 3 donuts and a juice box! I am going to bring the juice box to school and put it in for the endangered animals! YAYYYYYYYY!
Hi Carina - wow what a fun day you must be having! That's great that you are thinking about bringing it in for the endangered animals. We have 4 animals left to adopt and I hope that we can make it happen! You're a great citizen Carina!
We do a lot at St. Bede to be green! Litter-less lunches, half light Fridays, recycling both juice boxes and paper. Can you think of anything else we do at school? How about at your home?

I wonder how many lines are on the solar module? The pictures are awesome!I wonder how long it took to install the solar module?I like the solar module because we get to plant vegetable's and other plants.I am so excited to plant in our earth box!
