The statues are called Moai. They were created by early Rapa Nui people. There are 887 of those statues.

Micah - are the statues all close to each other or are they spread around the island?

Hi Micah maybe you could find out if the statues are really big or kinda small
Most of them are around 4m high, but the tallest one named Paro is 10m high!!!!!!!!!!
